Forza Italia wants to strengthen its presence in the Fortore by building closer relationships among party members, municipal administrators and local communities. The message comes from Salvatore Iarossi, municipal councillor in Castelvetere in Val Fortore and provincial Forza Italia official.

Iarossi says the party should remain in close contact with residents, administrators and party representatives, acting as a point of reference for the territory. The approach is based on regular dialogue among municipalities to identify shared priorities and support them jointly.

According to the reports, those shared priorities include issues that affect several communities in the area, notably transport connections and access to services. Iarossi argues that coordination among administrators from different municipalities would allow local needs to be addressed together, giving the Fortore greater weight.

The statement also points to the role of Francesco Maria Rubano, described as Forza Italia's provincial secretary and a national deputy with a continued presence in the Fortore.

Iarossi formally joined Forza Italia in December 2025, an affiliation publicly reported at the time. The earlier report noted that Forza Italia had received 31.52% in Castelvetere in Val Fortore in the latest regional election referenced in that article.

What has not been specified is which municipalities would take part in the proposed network, what timetable coordination would follow, or what funding, policy commitments or administrative agreements would be involved.
