The Campania Region's Agriculture Department and Slow Food Costiera Sorrentina e Capri APS are promoting two training meetings dedicated to the Campanian truffle, aimed at food and tourism professionals in the Sorrento Peninsula.
Participation is restricted to gastronomic and tourism-sector operators. Advance booking is required, including the applicant's sector and professional area.
The program combines seminars, guided tastings, and menus featuring Campanian truffle, prepared for selected guests.
The first meeting is scheduled for 17 November 2026, from 12:00 to 16:00, at Lo Stuzzichino in Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, Massa Lubrense.
The second meeting is scheduled for 25 November 2026, from 12:00 to 16:00, at La Tradizione in Seiano, Vico Equense.
According to Metropolis Web, Campania is presented as home to nine truffle species available throughout the year, with restaurants playing a central role in raising the product's profile and value.
The initiative comes as truffle collection remains an active administrative topic in Campania: the regional agriculture authority's 2026 archive includes notices concerning authorization cards for collecting truffles and mushrooms.
No registration contact, attendance capacity, or detailed seminar schedule was published in the material reviewed. As both dates fall after the original local-press report, attendance and completion cannot yet be confirmed.
