The Mercato della Terra returns to Piano di Sorrento on Sunday, November 8, with the sponsorship of the Comune. The market is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the town's fruit and vegetable market.
The initiative is organized by Slow Food and brings together producers from the Sorrento Peninsula and Campania.
At 11:00 a.m., the program includes the Laboratorio del Gusto "Prima del filo d'olio — Un anno di lavoro, una ricetta d'infanzia," focused on Sorrento extra-virgin olive oil. The workshop includes a tasting of oils from participating producers, with a comparison of their aromas, flavors, and differences.
The workshop is led by Alessandra Balduccini, with cooking by Luisella from Agriturismo Antico Casale dei Colli di San Pietro.
