Carabinieri have seized 84 kilograms of cocaine in Scampia, in northern Naples, from an Alfa Romeo Giulietta parked near the Vele.
The cocaine was divided into 71 vacuum-packed packages stored in two bags inside the car, according to reports from Metropolis Web and ANSA. The vehicle had been reported stolen on 17 October 2026.
Officers from the investigative unit of the Naples provincial carabinieri command carried out technical inspections of the car following the discovery.
The seized cocaine has an estimated market value of approximately €3 million. The sources do not report arrests, nor do they identify the intended recipient of the shipment.
