Avanti-PSI Sannio has added another local administrator to its ranks: Giuseppe Antonio Ruggiero, mayor of Foiano di Val Fortore, has joined the movement.
Ruggiero, a former provincial councillor, is described as a political and administrative reference point in the Fortore area. His membership was presented as further evidence of the movement's growing presence among local administrations and inland communities in the Sannio.
The announcement followed a meeting of the provincial and Benevento city coordination groups attended by PSI national secretary and Campania tourism councillor Enzo Maraio.
According to the movement, Avanti-PSI Sannio recorded more than 300 members during its first provincial membership drive.
