Trecase has delivered a new piece of its urban identity to the community: the Area di Accoglienza at Piazzale Isabella Langella.

The inauguration ceremony took place at 4:00 p.m. in Via Casa Cirillo, attended by citizens, families, local associations and representatives of civil, military and religious institutions.

A project promoted by the town administration

The intervention was promoted by the administration led by Mayor Raffaele De Luca and is presented as another public work for the community.

According to the local report published on 1 October 2026, which describes the ceremony as having taken place "yesterday afternoon," the project marks a further step in the town's effort to improve public spaces and everyday urban quality.

Safety, accessibility and urban decorum

The new area is described as a modern service and interchange point, designed around safety, accessibility and urban decorum.

The work includes reorganized parking areas and spaces dedicated to stopping and mobility, with the aim of making arrival, transit and parking in this part of Trecase more orderly and welcoming.

Urban regeneration for residents and visitors

The report frames Piazzale Isabella Langella as an urban regeneration project with a community focus, intended to improve welcome, mobility and the overall perception of the town.

For residents and visitors alike, the new piazzale is meant to serve as a functional gateway: a clearer, safer and more dignified point of access to Trecase.
