On Sunday 4 October, the Archaeological Park of Pompeii is scheduled to host a day of activities linked to "Domenica al Museo" and "Domenica di Carta," combining wellness, technology, food and children's reading.
The morning begins at 10:00 in the green spaces of the Parvula Domus with a 90-minute Vinyasa Integral Yoga session led by Francesca Caso and organised with the Il Tulipano cooperative. Participation is listed at 5 euros.
At 11:00, an immersive technology experience is scheduled to depart from Piazza Anfiteatro. Using 3D viewers and multimedia glasses, it reconstructs Roman streets and houses. The reported duration is two hours and the cost is 10 euros.
According to the announcement, the yoga and immersive activities are bookable through the Pompeii Children's Museum website.
Food is also part of the day. Chora Restaurant, described as the only restaurant inside the archaeological excavations, is expected to introduce autumn menus based on local ingredients and host a sunset aperitif starting at 16:30.
In the afternoon, attention turns to the Giuseppe Fiorelli Library. From 14:30, the library is scheduled to present the children's fiction series "Alla scoperta di Pompei," written by Martina Tapinassi and published by Arbor Sapientiae.
The library programme is then scheduled to conclude at 16:30 with a talk on the library's history and the opening of a new children's section, with free admission. That is the same time the sunset aperitif at Chora Restaurant is scheduled to begin, so visitors will need to choose between the two closing events.
