Turris supporters will not be able to follow the team to Forio. The away trip to face Real Forio was officially prohibited after guidance from CASMS, Italy's committee for the safety of sports events, which classified the match as posing a high risk to public order.
The decision is the third away ban of the season for the club's supporters, following the restrictions already applied to the trips to Brindisi and Nocera.
Who is affected
The ban was applied to residents of Torre del Greco, the home city of Turris. It followed an initial phase in which tickets had gone on general sale, before documentary restrictions were introduced.
The full text of the CASMS guidance or the implementing order was not available in the sources consulted. Those sources also do not clarify whether the ban covers only Torre del Greco residents or additional categories of supporters, and no later change to the ban has been documented.
Refunds for tickets already bought
For tickets already purchased through the Go2 platform, a full refund has been announced. The practical arrangements and timing for the refunds were still to be communicated.
Supporters who bought tickets should therefore keep their purchase confirmation and check the sales channel for the forthcoming refund instructions, rather than travelling to Forio.
A fixture the teams already know
Turris against Real Forio is a repeat fixture from this season's Coppa Italia Serie D. The two sides met in the competition's preliminary round on 23 August 2026, with kick-off listed at 17:30.
That earlier meeting was decided from the penalty spot: Turris went through 8-7 on penalties, as reported by Teleischia.
Part of a wider pattern
The measure fits a broader pattern of preventive away-travel restrictions in Italian football, adopted to avoid possible public-order problems. Such restrictions can be applied on the basis of supporters' place of residence.
For Turris supporters, the practical effect is now a third interrupted away trip this season, with the Forio match to be followed from home while refund procedures are awaited.
