On 26 and 27 September, the historic centre of Taurasi, in the province of Avellino, hosts "Settembre al Borgo – Da porta a porta nel segno del vino tra le porte di Taurasi."
The event links Taurasi DOCG wine with local food, music, historic architecture, open cellars and the cultural identity of the town. It is organized by the Comitato Pro Centro Storico Taurasi and the Comune di Taurasi.
The opening is scheduled for Saturday 26 September at 18:30 at the Castello Marchionale. Food stands open from 20:00, followed by live music in the evening.
Sunday 27 September includes guided visits in the historic centre, a wine experience built around the five senses, lunch service, and open cellars where producers present, sell and serve their wines. A Taurasi DOCG masterclass and guided tasting is scheduled for 18:00, with food stands and live music in the evening.
Visitors can join guided tours of the Castello Marchionale. The sensory wine route is reservation-based, and the cellars are open to visitors during the event.
