Avellino will host “Tecno Art – L’Arte incontra la Tecnologia” in Piazza Kennedy on 27 September, an afternoon event combining traditional art, technology, reuse and music. Admission is free.

The programme begins at 15:00 with an introductory talk, followed by hands-on workshops and an exhibition:

  • 15:00: introductory talk
  • 15:30: workshop using components from old computers as artistic elements on fabrics and clothing
  • 16:30: workshop led by musician and luthier Mayumi Ueda on making musical instruments from recycled wood
  • 17:30: opening of a painting exhibition by local artists
  • 19:00: final presentation of the creations made during the workshops

The initiative focuses on sustainable creativity, recycling, art, technology and music. It is open to families, students, artists, curious visitors and anyone interested in creative reuse.
