The Provincial Carabinieri Command in Avellino has presented the 2027 Historical Calendar and the 2027 Agenda of the Arma dei Carabinieri, according to a report by IrpiniaNews.

The presentation covers both publications together: the Historical Calendar for 2027 and the accompanying Agenda for 2027.

The theme: "Sguardi che proteggono"

The central theme and campaign claim are "Sguardi che proteggono" — "The eyes that protect."

The national institutional campaign uses the full claim "Carabinieri. Sguardi che proteggono." The Italian Government identifies it as a campaign promoted by the Ministry of Defence.

The calendar develops that theme through photography, portraying the professional and operational dimensions of the Carabinieri. It contains twelve photographic panels by Franco Cappellari, with texts by Bruno Vespa and Ferruccio de Bortoli.

What the twelve panels show

A useful feature of this year's edition for readers is its breadth: each of the twelve panels represents a different branch, speciality or duty within the Arma.

The subjects covered are:

  • mobile radio units
  • territorial stations
  • naval service
  • Gruppo di Intervento Speciale (GIS)
  • Corazzieri
  • canine units
  • air service
  • forest personnel
  • scientific investigations
  • labour and cultural-heritage protection
  • mounted units
  • station commanders

Together, the twelve images give an overview of how the institution presents its daily work, from territorial control and emergency response to highly specialised tasks such as scientific analysis, environmental protection and safeguarding cultural heritage.

Beyond Avellino: a national campaign

The Avellino presentation forms part of a wider national communication campaign for the 2027 Historical Calendar.

The Department for Information and Publishing describes the campaign as presenting the Carabinieri as protecting people, nature and cultural heritage through a constant and secure presence.

In that framing, protection is not limited to intervention after an incident. It is described as continuous safeguarding — of people, of nature and of cultural heritage.

The local report notes that the Carabinieri network includes more than 4,500 stations across Italy, underscoring the territorial scale behind the calendar's theme.

The Agenda 2027 and Bambino Gesù Hospital

The second publication presented in Avellino is the Agenda 2027.

The Agenda 2027 supports the development of CAR-T cells at the Bambino Gesù Paediatric Hospital for children affected by acute myeloid leukaemia.

That charitable link gives the Agenda a distinct role alongside the Historical Calendar: while the calendar documents the institution's branches and duties through photography, the Agenda is tied to support for paediatric treatment research.
