Police officers from the Afragola station have arrested two women in Caivano in an anti-drug operation targeting a cocaine packaging and distribution point.
The operation focused on an apartment in Via Diaz, which investigators say was used to prepare individual doses for sale. According to investigators, the apartment functioned as a "transfer station" connected to drug dealing in the Caivano area and neighboring municipalities.
During the search, officers recovered about 500 grams of cocaine. Part of the drug had been thrown into the toilet in an apparent attempt to dispose of it before the seizure.
The two women, identified in the source report only by their initials, were taken to prison while awaiting a validation hearing.
