Carabinieri arrested a 30-year-old Naples resident after stopping his car on Corso Europa in Villaricca during the night between Monday and Tuesday.
According to Il Mattino, officers stopped the vehicle because it appeared suspicious. During the check inside the car, they found 40 doses of cocaine and cash.
The man faces a charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing. He was transferred to prison pending a validation hearing.
The report links the arrest to a drug-delivery pattern described as operating across Giugliano, Mugnano, Melito and Villaricca.
