Carabinieri from the Bagnoli company have intensified checks in Pianura and Rione Traiano, following the events of September 15 near the Cumana station and on a train. The reinforced operation was carried out on the impetus of the Prefettura.
During the checks, officers found drugs hidden in a cavity between a residence and a condominium stairwell at Via Marco Aurelio 214. A total of 182 grams of marijuana was seized, along with doses of crack and cocaine and material used for packaging.
In Pianura, controls also targeted local businesses. A pastry and rotisserie shop in Corso Duca d'Aosta was suspended due to serious hygiene and structural deficiencies. The owner received a fine of 1,000 euros and the business was limited to a single production and sales line.
A food and beverage shop in Via Vecchia Comunale was fined 2,000 euros for various irregularities.
No further details have been reported on arrests or charges linked to the seized drugs, or on the duration of the suspension imposed on the pastry shop.
