Diego, a pitbull puppy rescued from mistreatment on the Asse Mediano, has finally found a home.
The rescue came about ten days earlier, when Gianfranco Santi, a 21-year-old courier, saved Diego from mistreatment. Santi fed the young dog and removed him from harm before bringing him to Mario Mosca, an animal rights activist.
Mosca cared for Diego at his home in Miano, where he lives with other rescued animals, with help from volunteers. Among those who helped give Diego a new start were Fatima and Emanuele Santi.
Now under three months old, Diego was placed with a family in Salerno, who will welcome him and love him like a son.
