Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret said the squad is united and determined to respond immediately as Napoli prepare to face Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League.
Speaking at a press conference on the eve of the match, Meret described a group eager to move past a difficult period and get back to winning ways.
"We have a united group with a great desire to make up for it," Meret said. "Bodø are a very strong team, but we have an immediate chance to react."
The original Italian reads: "Abbiamo un gruppo unito che ha grandissima voglia di riscattarsi. Il Bodo è una squadra molto forte, ma noi abbiamo l'occasione immediata di reagire."
Focus on details and intensity
Meret said Napoli need to improve collectively, work with intensity, and pay closer attention to details.
He framed the next match as an opportunity to regain both victory and consistency, rather than just a one-off reaction.
Home support at the Maradona
Meret also pointed to the support of the crowd at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona as a potentially important factor for Napoli against Bodø/Glimt.
