SSC Napoli has confirmed that Alisson Santos has sustained a medium-grade strain injury to his left hamstring.
The club issued the update in an official medical note after the player underwent instrumental examinations at Pineta Grande Hospital.
According to Napoli, the tests identified "a medium-grade strain injury of the left hamstring" — in the club's wording, "una lesione distrattiva di medio grado del bicipite femorale sinistro."
The club also confirmed that Santos has already begun his rehabilitation process.
Napoli did not state an expected recovery time, nor did it indicate when Santos might return to team training or competitive matches. The note also gave no details about how the injury occurred.
