Napoli Basketball suffered its first defeat of the season, losing 82-98 to Olimpia Milano at home.
Napoli started strongly in front of a sold-out crowd at Alcott Arena, leading 25-18 at the end of the first quarter. Milano responded in the second period to take a 42-38 lead into halftime, then extended the margin to 67-61 after the third quarter before closing out the 16-point win.
Coach Repesa identified the second quarter as the turning point, saying the team "lost our lucidity in the second quarter."
Napoli will look to respond quickly. The club is scheduled to face Tofas Bursa at Alcott Arena on Wednesday, 21 October, at 20:00 in the fourth round of the EuroCup.
