ASL Napoli 2 Nord is organising a series of public initiatives for the National Day for the Safety of Care on 17 September 2026, with events centred in the Campi Flegrei area and extending to other district facilities.
The programme opens with "Porte Aperte in Centrale Operativa 118" in Pozzuoli, at Contrada la Schiana near Santa Maria delle Grazie, from 10:00 to 13:00. The open day offers guided visits and practical simulations showing how emergency calls are received and managed.
On 18 September, the initiative "Scuole che Promuovono Salute" will involve students from the A. Torrente Institute in Casoria. The sessions focus on nutrition, physical activity, sleep and common myths around tobacco prevention.
Lifesaving-skills training on airway obstruction in adults, children and infants is scheduled at the Community Houses of Monterusciello and Caivano, from 09:00 to 12:00.
On 19 September, district facilities and Community Houses will offer cancer screenings and vaccinations, with facilitated access through extraordinary openings announced for the day.
To mark the occasion symbolically, the Community House of Monterusciello and the Community Hospitals of Bacoli and Caivano will be illuminated in orange.
