Montesarchio will host two training meetings on the prevention and recognition of abuse and mistreatment affecting minors, including sexual abuse online and offline, as part of the project "Gli Stivali di Pollicino."

The project is promoted by Centro Pollicino – Centro per il Sostegno al Minore o alla Famiglia, accredited with Ambito Territoriale B3, in collaboration with the Comune di Montesarchio, with support from the Department for Family Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

The first meeting, "Abuso sessuale sui minori: strumenti per la rilevazione e l'intervento," is scheduled for Friday 16 October 2026, from 16:00 to 18:00. The second meeting, "La presa in carico nei casi di abuso e maltrattamento a danno di minori," is scheduled for Friday 23 October 2026, from 16:00 to 18:00.

Both meetings will take place at the Biblioteca Comunale "Amicolibro" in piazza Umberto I, Montesarchio.

The meetings are intended for parents, educators and people working in child-protection-related fields.
