The CISL FP Irpinia Sannio union is opening two "Sportello Precari" desks at its territorial offices in Avellino and Benevento, according to a report by NTR24.
The desks are aimed at workers with fixed-term or otherwise non-stable employment across public-administration sectors.
The scope goes beyond public healthcare. It also covers municipalities, provinces, central and local state administrations, non-economic public entities and agencies.
According to the report, the offices are intended to provide assistance and orientation, examine individual employment situations and identify possible routes available under current legislation.
The initiative also aims to map precarious employment in the provinces of Avellino and Benevento and collect recurring problems reported by workers.
Sonia Petrucciani, secretary general of CISL FP Irpinia Sannio, said the union wants to intervene before contracts approach expiration.
Opening dates, hours, addresses and contact details for the two offices were not included in the available report.
