Selma, the 22-year-old singer from Benevento, made a winning prime-time debut on Rai1's Tale e Quale Show, hosted by Carlo Conti.
For her first appearance on the show, Selma performed as Raye, singing "Where Is My Husband!". According to NTR24, the performance earned an ovation from the studio audience and strong praise from the jury.
Selma won the opening episode with 69 points, NTR24 reports. She was also the most-voted contestant on social media.
Positive comments came from Carlo Conti as well as Cristiano Malgioglio, Elettra Lamborghini, Fabio Fazio and Alessandro Siani, underlining how convincing her debut was with both judges and viewers.
Born in 2004 and raised in Benevento, Selma began performing as a street artist. That background brought her to national attention when she won the fourth edition of Rai1's Dalla strada al palco, earning the title of best street artist and a 10,000-euro prize in gold tokens.
From street performances in Benevento to first place in prime time on Rai1, Selma's debut on Tale e Quale Show marks a major step in her young career.
