Starting Wednesday, September 30, the municipal library E. Falcetti in Apice will host reading meetings for children aged zero to six, in Italian and in other languages.
The initiative is promoted by the Pro Loco of Apice and is also aimed at the foreign-language communities living in the Apice area.
The meetings are part of "Letture Contaminate," a series within the project "Oltre gli sche(r)mi," funded through the Cepell 2024 "Leggimi 0-6" call for projects.
The program will feature readings from bilingual books, led by language mediators and representatives of the foreign communities. According to the announcement, the library holds bilingual books in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Romanian and other language combinations.
Alongside the Pro Loco and the municipal administration, the project involves the association ribell'Arci, the BioLu farm and the Eidos theatre.
