One person was injured in a road crash on the Tangenziale Ovest of Benevento late in the afternoon of 23 September 2026, near the Santa Clementina exit.
According to local reports, a Hyundai lost control and collided violently with the guardrail. The impact was severe enough that the guardrail penetrated the vehicle's passenger compartment, making the rescue operation more difficult.
