Benevento will host a conference on Legionella prevention in accommodation facilities on Thursday 1 October at 16:00. The event, titled "Prevenire la Legionella nelle strutture ricettive: sicurezza, salute e responsabilità," will take place at the Auditorium G. D'Alessandro of the Benevento Medical Association, Viale Antonio Mellusi 168.
The initiative is promoted by the Environment and Health Commission of the Benevento Order of Physicians. According to NTR24, it will examine the health, epidemiological, environmental, technical and management aspects of Legionella prevention.
The conference is aimed especially at owners and managers of hotels, B&Bs, agritourisms, tourist facilities, spas and wellness centres, as well as professionals involved in plant design, maintenance and safety.
The programme opens with institutional greetings from Nino Lombardi, Girolamo Pettrone and Andrea Esposito, followed by contributions from Gaetano Beatrice, Cosimo Savoia, Marcello Lamberto and Annamaria Rossi.
The organisers present regular monitoring, maintenance and risk awareness as central elements of prevention.
