A 65-year-old man from Benevento was injured late in the evening when his Fiat Seicento left the roadway along via Avellino and came to rest inside private land.
The incident occurred near the boundary between Benevento and Sant’Angelo a Cupolo. According to NTR24, the causes that led the driver to leave the road remain under investigation.
Emergency responders attended the scene. Personnel from 118 rescued the driver, firefighters extracted him from the vehicle, and he was transported to hospital. His exact injuries and medical condition were not reported.
Carabinieri also attended to establish the dynamics of the crash.
