Two shooting incidents were reported within 24 hours in the Cmi district of Castellammare di Stabia, according to local press outlet Metropolis Web.

The first incident occurred during a street fight, in which a young man was shot in the foot. He was later discharged with a ten-day prognosis.

The second incident took place on via Napoli, near a disused petrol station. A 22-year-old was shot from behind while fleeing, sustaining a gunshot wound to the buttock. He was treated at San Leonardo Hospital and was reported to be out of danger.

The State Police are investigating the first shooting, while the Carabinieri, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor's Office, are investigating the attack on via Napoli.

Investigators are examining whether the two incidents are connected. Any link, including possible criminal disputes, remains an investigative hypothesis rather than an established fact.

The identities of the alleged attackers have not been established in the reporting available, and independent confirmation from police or prosecutors was not available at the time of writing.
