Police officers from the Pompei Commissariat carried out a control and prevention operation in the Fontanelle district of Pompei, seizing cocaine doses and a stolen car.

According to a report by Metropolis Web, the searches were coordinated by vice-questore Giuseppe Nicotera and focused on uncultivated land and buildings in the area of Via Fontanelle.

During the searches, officers found approximately 50 grams of cocaine, already divided into individual doses and packaged in heat-sealed packets. Packaging material used for preparing the doses was also recovered.

In the same operation, police found a Fiat 500L that checks in police databases identified as stolen in July. The vehicle was seized.

The report notes that the operation took place in the same area where investigators had previously located the hideout of a suspect linked to an armed robbery at a betting shop on Via Plinio.

No suspect or arrest connected to the cocaine seizure was identified in the report, and the precise location within the Fontanelle district was not specified. No independent police or prosecutorial statement confirming the operation was available.
