Pompei is hosting "Pompei in Rosa – La prevenzione è vita," a three-day prevention and health-information initiative promoted by the Comune di Pompei.
At the centre of the event is the Villaggio della Salute in Piazza Schettini, open through Sunday 25 October 2026. The village offers free medical consultations and screenings focused on women's health.
Free check-ups on offer
According to the programme reported by Metropolis Web, visitors can access free breast examinations, gynaecological visits with Pap tests, cardiology and pneumology checks, and nutritional consultations.
The initiative brings together the Comune di Pompei with LILT, AIRC, Komen Italia and representatives of ASL Napoli 3.
More than screenings
The programme also includes public debates, yoga and Pilates activities, and "Vetrine in Rosa," a contest involving local shop windows.
The three days will close with the Marcia in Rosa solidarity march on Sunday 25 October 2026.
