Terra di Ruscello 2022 is the second wine project linked to the Tammaro family in Monterusciello, following the Santa Chiara Falanghina. Classified as Campania Rosso IGP, it entered the market in September 2026 in very limited quantities.
The wine blends two Campanian territories: 70% Aglianico from Irpinia and 30% Piedirosso from the Campi Flegrei. The Aglianico comes from Castelfranci, while the Piedirosso vineyard is in Monterusciello, Pozzuoli.
The two grape varieties are vinified and aged separately before final assembly. Fermentation takes place in steel with approximately 20 days of maceration, followed by about three years in acacia tonneaux and an additional 12 months of bottle ageing. Reported production is 1,664 bottles and 100 Magnum.
In the glass it is described as ruby-red, intense and persistent, with red-fruit, vegetal, spicy and smoky notes. The reported alcohol is 13%, with a full but soft palate, freshness, savouriness and good drinkability.
The wine is presented as a pairing for Neapolitan cuisine and for dishes served at the family’s Radì Cucina di Casa in Varcaturo.
Terra di Ruscello also belongs to a wider agricultural project in Monterusciello. Alongside wine, it connects the recovery of Pomodoro Cannellino Flegreo, regeneration of farmland and planned enotourism activities in the Monterusciello Agrocity context. Availability is likely to be limited because of the small reported production, and technical details beyond the published profile were not available.
