Irpiniambiente has filed an appeal with the Regional Administrative Court (TAR) against the Municipality of Avellino over the direct non-payment of two invoices worth more than €300,000.

The dispute concerns the delivery of unsorted municipal solid waste to the STIR treatment plant at Pianodardine. According to the report, the two invoices relate to July and August.

The municipality reportedly opted for compensation against other accounting positions rather than paying the invoices directly. Irpiniambiente challenged the municipal measures linked to the settlement of those invoices and to environmental compensation connected with the operation of the Pianodardine plant.

In its appeal, which also requests suspension of the contested measures, the company is seeking direct payment of more than €300,000, plus accrued legal interest.

No independent court document or municipal act was acquired for this report, and the individual amount of each invoice was not disclosed. The subsequent ruling of the TAR or the current status of the proceedings is not established.
