Fabrizio Inzolia, Caporeparto in Italy's National Fire Corps, has concluded his active service after more than 33 years.
Inzolia began his career in June 1993. Over the following three decades he served in the commands of Varese, Florence, Naples, Avellino and Salerno, before returning to Avellino for the final part of his career.
He was promoted to Caposquadra in 2012 and to Caporeparto in 2022.
Among the major operations recalled from his career are the 1994 flood in Liguria, the floods that struck Quindici and Cervinara, the earthquakes in L'Aquila and Emilia-Romagna, the waste emergency in Campania and the snow emergency.
The Provincial Fire Command of Avellino thanked Inzolia for his service and wished him a peaceful retirement and a happy new chapter of life.
