Two cars were destroyed by fire overnight along the SS18 state road in the Sabatella area of Capaccio Paestum.
According to the report by Il Mattino Salerno, the vehicles were owned by two Moroccan citizens. Firefighters intervened at the scene after the blaze broke out during the night.
Carabinieri from the Capaccio Scalo station are investigating the circumstances of the fire, including whether it was deliberately started.
