The Trofeo Città di Salerno is back as a predominantly nighttime offshore race between Salerno and Agropoli, with a return to Salerno.

The event recovers a race linked to the Salerno sailing tradition of the 1980s and 1990s. For the edition described by Il Mattino, about fifteen boats were entered, divided into two categories.

The route: Salerno–Agropoli–Salerno

The full course is about 41 nautical miles. Boats leave Salerno for Agropoli and then return to Salerno.

A previous edition documented in 2025 describes the same coastal format, Salerno–Agropoli–Salerno, over about 41 miles, organized by Associazione Marina with the Lega Navale di Agropoli.
