A 47-year-old worker was injured in a workplace accident in Sapri during the afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. while work was underway, according to Il Mattino Salerno.
The man suffered burns caused by tar, affecting his face, hands and torso. He received initial treatment at the hospital in Sapri.
He was subsequently transferred to the Cardarelli hospital in Naples for further treatment and evaluation.
