The fifth edition of the "Non compleanno" charity evening at Nabilah in Bacoli raised approximately 60,000 euros for Fondazione Melanoma ETS, the foundation coordinated by Paolo Ascierto.
The figure, reported by Il Mattino and confirmed by NapoliToday, represents a 35% increase over the 2025 result. It was described as provisional at the time of reporting, as further donations by bank transfer were still possible.
Donations came through direct online bank transfers and contributions made at the foundation's desks during the event. With this year's result, total donations to Fondazione Melanoma through the initiative since 2022 now exceed 150,000 euros.
An evening dedicated to Luca Iannuzzi
The 2026 event was dedicated to the memory of Luca Iannuzzi, founder of Nabilah, and used the theme "Chi vuol esser lieto, sia."
More than 45 food, beverage, and other companies supported the evening. The musical programme included Roberto Colella, Veronica Simioli, Ste, and Aurelio Fierro.
Where the funds will go
Paolo Ascierto said funds raised in previous editions supported research into biomarkers, treatment response, and new drugs.
This year's proceeds are intended to help finalize a clinical study in Naples involving a new three-drug combination. The sources do not identify the drugs, the trial phase, the protocol, or an expected completion date, and no audited breakdown of donations or of the exact amount allocated to the study was reported.
What the foundation does
Fondazione Melanoma ETS says it was established with support from the Pascale Institute and the Second University of Naples.
Its stated mission includes oncological research, translational research, melanoma patient care, professional training, and public health education.
What readers should know
The 60,000-euro total had not been finalized when reported: additional IBAN donations and bank-transfer totals were still pending, and no separate Fondazione Melanoma statement confirming the event total was included in the acquired documents.
For readers following the initiative, that means the final amount could rise above the figure announced on the night. The consistent point across the local reporting is the trajectory: five editions, more than 150,000 euros collected since 2022, and a direct link stated by the organizers between the Bacoli evening and research work carried out in Naples.
