A street fight involving around thirty people broke out on Via Andrea Doria in Fuorigrotta, Naples, at about 5:45 p.m. on 22 September 2026.
According to Il Mattino, the confrontation involved two family groups. At the root, investigators report, was an old dispute linked to a relationship that had ended years earlier.
The argument escalated into violence in the street. A 45-year-old man was struck with a metal stick and transported to San Paolo Hospital for treatment. His exact medical prognosis was not reported.
Police intervened, identified those present, and seized two weapons allegedly used in the fight: a wooden stick and a metal stick.
Seven people were reported at liberty on charges of brawl.
