An extraordinary territorial control operation in Striano, carried out by officers from the San Giuseppe Vesuviano police station alongside the Carabinieri and the Local Police, led to the arrest of a 57-year-old man in San Giuseppe Vesuviano after hashish was found in his home.
According to the Naples Police Headquarters and the report in Il Mattino Napoli, officers identified 128 people, including 37 with prior police records, and checked 140 vehicles during the operation. Officers also checked 11 people subject to restrictive measures or alternatives to detention.
Traffic enforcement during the checks resulted in 9 violations of the Highway Code and the administrative seizure of one vehicle.
The arrest followed a search of the 57-year-old's home in San Giuseppe Vesuviano, where officers found about 110 grams of hashish, described as a piece and a block, along with a precision scale and material used for packaging. The man was arrested by the officers on duty.
