A new free playground has opened in the Arpino area of Casoria, transforming previously neglected land into a place for sport, social life and community renewal.
The space was created through the "Sport Illumina" project and is designed around basketball and parkour, with football also included in coverage of the wider initiative. It is intended to be free and accessible, aimed especially at young people, local sports associations and residents.
Inclusion through sport
The project presents sports infrastructure as a tool for inclusion, education and social interaction, as well as for the physical regeneration of the area.
