A robber wearing a helmet and carrying a pistol targeted an Eté supermarket on via Ferrante Imparato in San Giovanni a Teduccio, in eastern Naples.

The incident occurred around 18:00, while numerous customers were present. The man pointed the pistol at the cashiers and forced them to hand over the cash, taking several hundred euros, possibly thousands. The exact amount was still being quantified.

Officers from the San Giovanni-Barra police station collected witness statements and surveillance footage. Police were investigating whether the robbery was linked to a series of similar raids in eastern Naples.

Less than two weeks earlier, a previous raid had targeted the Quarì supermarket in corso San Giovanni a Teduccio. In that incident, the robber wore a dark helmet, threatened the cashiers, and escaped by motorcycle with an accomplice. Police have not confirmed the identity of the suspect or established a definitive link between the raids.
