Carabinieri from the Sant'Arpino station intervened late in the evening following a family dispute, according to Il Mattino's Caserta section.
A local man, born in 1949, was reported while remaining at liberty. He is considered, subject to further judicial assessment, seriously suspected of aggravated threats and failure to report weapons and ammunition.
According to the reconstruction attributed to the Carabinieri, the man allegedly threatened his son with a rifle during the dispute.
The rifle was legally registered but was stored in a location different from the one declared for its possession.
The rifle was placed under judicial seizure, the ammunition was withdrawn as a precaution, and authorities proposed a ban on the man's possession of weapons. Judicial authorities were informed and will make the subsequent decisions.
The people involved have not been identified, and no final judicial outcome has been reported. The allegations remain subject to further assessment by the judiciary.
