Three new Uffici di Prossimità in the district of the Tribunale di Santa Maria Capua Vetere were inaugurated on 30 October 2026, according to Regione Campania. The desks are located in the municipalities of Piedimonte Matese, Caiazzo and Capriati a Volturno.
The desk in Piedimonte Matese has been active since 27 October 2026 and serves residents of the municipality. The desks in Caiazzo and Capriati a Volturno have been operational since 28 October 2026. The Caiazzo desk also serves citizens of four other municipalities in the area, which are not named in the sources acquired.
Representatives of the Tribunale, the Procura, administrative offices, the three municipalities and the EasyGov Solutions support project attended the inauguration.
Bringing justice services closer
According to Regione Campania, the desks are intended to bring justice services closer to citizens and to reduce difficulties linked to distance from judicial offices and to the complexity of procedures.
In practice, the sources describe the service as free information and support for pratiche di volontaria giurisdizione. The acquired sources do not list addresses, opening days or opening hours for the three desks.
Part of a 29-desk regional network
The three openings belong to a wider regional project that has activated 29 desks in the districts of the Tribunali of Avellino, Benevento, Nola, Salerno, Santa Maria Capua Vetere and Vallo della Lucania.
For readers, that wider context matters in two ways.
First, the same type of free information and support is available across the regional network, so residents can understand these three desks as local points of that Campania-wide service rather than as isolated municipal offices.
Second, the regional project has included the digitalisation of more than 6,000 files and training for operators through 10 modules for a total of 60 hours. The sources present those figures at project level; they do not attribute specific digitised files or trained staff to each of the three newly opened desks.
Regione Campania presents the continuation of operations as an objective of the project, but the acquired sources do not document a specific deadline or management act for future continuity.
