The Campania Region has published the 2026 public call for grants to support the management and social reuse of confiscated assets. The total budget is 300,000 euros, with grants of up to 60,000 euros per project. Applications are due by 23:59 on 30 October 2026.
The call was approved by Decreto Dirigenziale n. 24 of 25 September 2026 and published in BURC n. 52 of 30 September 2026.
Who can apply
The call is open to entities holding concessions for confiscated assets assigned to territorial authorities.
Each applicant may submit only one project proposal, even if the proposal covers more than one confiscated asset.
What projects can do
Projects may strengthen or expand activities already underway in confiscated properties, or launch new initiatives with social and public benefit.
Interventions must observe principles of energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, removal of architectural barriers, and socio-economic sustainability.
Priority themes
Bonus scores are assigned to projects focused on:
- disability and "dopo di noi" support
- social housing
- assistance for older people
- animal protection and action against stray animals
These priorities signal where the Region wants to direct social reuse in the 2026 programme.
How and when to apply
Applications must be sent exclusively by PEC to [email protected] by 23:59 on 30 October 2026.
Applicants should consult the official notice text and its attachments for the complete list of eligibility documents, detailed admissibility criteria, and reporting rules. The information page examined for this article does not reproduce all of those detailed requirements.
Continuity with previous years
The 2026 measure continues the Region's policy of supporting community management of confiscated assets, already applied in previous annual programmes.
The 2024 call, for example, supported socio-educational activities and services and the promotion of active citizenship and a culture of legality. That background helps explain the current focus: sustaining existing social uses while encouraging new public-interest projects.
What to check before submitting
Two practical points grounded in the official sources deserve attention.
First, plan for a single proposal. Because only one proposal is allowed per applicant, organizations managing several properties will need to choose whether to concentrate resources on one asset or present an integrated proposal covering several assets together.
Second, align the proposal with both the cross-cutting principles and a priority theme. Energy efficiency, accessibility, and environmental and socio-economic sustainability are required design principles, while disability, social housing, elderly care, and animal welfare provide additional scoring advantages.
No breakdown by province or sector of the 300,000 euro budget was available in the material reviewed, and no outcome can be reported because the 30 October 2026 deadline has not yet passed.
