Campania has added seven new Uffici di Prossimità — free, local desks that bring basic justice services closer to residents — in the court districts of Avellino, Salerno and Vallo della Lucania. According to Regione Campania, the desks became operational between 28 and 30 October 2026.
The desks provide free information and guidance, help with filling in forms, electronic filing of documents, and assistance with guardianship matters, including tutele, curatele and amministrazioni di sostegno.
Where the new desks are
In the Avellino district, a new desk run by the Comunità Montana Terminio Cervialto serves residents of 18 municipalities.
In the Salerno district, four desks have opened at Campagna, Vietri sul Mare, Roscigno and Capaccio Paestum. The Roscigno desk is managed by the Unione dei Comuni Alto Calore and serves four municipalities; the Capaccio Paestum desk is managed by the Unione dei Comuni Paestum Alto Cilento and serves three municipalities.
In the Vallo della Lucania district, two desks have opened at Sacco and Agropoli. The Sacco desk serves ten municipalities, while the Agropoli desk serves twelve.
A 29-desk regional network
With these openings, the regional network now counts 29 desks across six court districts. The project aims to make justice more accessible and reduce the need for citizens to travel directly to court offices.
Regione Campania maintains a dedicated Uffici di Prossimità section with information on services, locations, opening hours, contacts and frequently asked questions. Addresses, opening hours and phone details for the seven new desks were not included in the sources available for this article, so readers should check the regional portal before visiting.
