A new bridge of solidarity now connects Telese Terme, in the Sannio area, with India.
Ali Onlus Italia, the nonprofit based in Telese Terme and chaired by Alessandro Fucci, has partnered with Father John Peter to establish the ALI Human Flourishing Trust. The trust's headquarters has been inaugurated in Villupuram, in the state of Tamil Nadu.
The heart of the initiative is the development of a hospital village that brings together healthcare, research, and hospitality in a single place. The project is aimed in particular at people who face illness together with poverty, loneliness, or marginalization.
Beyond care, the trust is designed as a point of exchange between the two countries. According to NTR24, the project intends to promote collaboration among professionals, doctors, and researchers, and to create shared training pathways between Italy and India.
In doing so, Ali Onlus Italia is expected to help connect scientific and business communities while strengthening relations between Italy and India — with Sannio as the starting point.
