For the third consecutive year, students from IPSAR "Le Streghe" in Benevento are joining Caritas Diocesana Benevento for "School for Charity: volontari si cresce."

The collaboration is being renewed for the school year reported on October 12, 2026. During the year, students are expected to prepare meals for people served by the Caritas canteen.

The project links hospitality-training skills with solidarity, active citizenship, inclusion and the fight against food waste. It is presented as service learning: students apply what they learn in their school laboratories in a community food-service setting.

Where the help goes

Caritas lists its canteen at the Cittadella della Carità "Evangelii Gaudium" on Via S. Pasquale 11 in Benevento.

Caritas lists the canteen's daily service hours as 09:30–12:30.

That location and timetable come from Caritas's own contact information for the canteen. The Caritas page does not itself describe the "School for Charity" partnership; the partnership and the planned student meal preparation are reported by NTR24.

What is confirmed — and what is not

What the available sources confirm is the renewal for a third year, the planned preparation of meals for canteen guests, the project's stated values, and the canteen's listed address and morning service hours.

The sources do not state the number of participating students, the number of meals or shifts, the full timetable for student involvement, or the number of people served. No documented outcomes from the previous two editions were found.
