Benevento has ordered a new phase of road-marking renewal affecting nine city streets from October 5 to October 24, 2026.

According to the municipal Traffic Service measure reported by NTR24, the order prohibits both stopping and standing, with forced removal of vehicles, to allow restyling of pedestrian crossings and parking-stall markings.

The work covers horizontal road markings and parking bays. It continues a sequence of interventions already underway in Benevento on road markings, parking stalls, and safety at intersections and pedestrian crossings.

In the previous phase, restrictions were applied progressively only to the stalls and sections actually affected by the works, and temporary signs were installed in advance. That phase also extended to some categories of authorized parkers.

What is not yet verifiable from the available text is the list of the nine streets, the exact daily hours, and whether the ban applies continuously throughout the October 5–24 period or only during active work hours. Drivers should check temporary on-site signs and the full municipal ordinance before parking in areas where crews are operating.
