Benevento's urban bus line 16UB will run along Corso Garibaldi again from Monday, 12 October, restoring a link through the historic centre in the direction from the Duomo toward the Prefettura.

The service, operated by Air Campania and authorized by the Municipality of Benevento, will run Monday to Friday. At weekends the line will keep its previous route and will not use Corso Garibaldi.

Stops and times

Three stops have been authorized on Corso Garibaldi:

  • Stop 4970, at the corner with Via Gregorio VIII
  • Stop 4973, at Piazza Roma
  • Stop 4983, near the church of Santa Sofia

Four weekday passages are scheduled on Corso Garibaldi, at 9:49, 11:49, 16:49 and 18:49.

What to know

Transit through the limited-traffic zone is allowed under a derogation limited to line 16UB. Stop signage will be installed on existing supports, with the costs borne by Air Campania.
