The local health authority site in Colle Sannita was temporarily closed on 5 October 2026 for urgent renovation and adaptation works, shifting several outpatient services to nearby towns.

According to reports from NTR24 and LabTV, cardiology, neurology, urology, paediatrics and dermatology appointments are to be transferred temporarily to the Casa di Comunità in San Marco dei Cavoti. The blood-draw service is expected to move to San Marco dei Cavoti or Morcone, although its final location and operating arrangements have not yet been confirmed.

Call for Meeting With Mayors

Regional councillor Fernando Errico asked the mayors of Colle Sannita, Castelpagano and Circello to organise a joint meeting to find solutions and reduce disruption for residents.

The concern centres especially on elderly people, vulnerable residents, people without private transport and people living alone, who may face greater difficulty reaching the replacement sites.

What Is Not Yet Known

The reports do not specify how long the closure or the temporary transfers will last. No official notice from the local health authority or the municipalities was available in the research reviewed for this article.

Residents who use the Colle Sannita clinic should check with the ASL Benevento, their doctor, or their municipal offices for the latest information on where and when the transferred services will operate.
