Sant'Agata de' Goti will host an institutional forum on the future of inland Campania's industrial areas on 29 October 2026 at 11:00 in the former Cinema Italia.

A forum for inland areas

The meeting, titled "Le zone industriali cerniera: confronto tra territori e istituzioni per il rilancio delle aree interne," is organised by the Municipality of Sant'Agata de' Goti and its Department for Productive Activities.

According to local reports, the event will bring together institutions, universities and businesses to discuss investment, infrastructure and employment in peripheral production zones.

The Capitone P.I.P. area

At the centre of the discussion will be the operational launch of the local Area P.I.P. in Capitone.

The area is presented as a potential logistics link between the productive districts of Benevento, Caserta and Naples. Reports associate the site with proximity to the Fondo Valle Isclero road and the railway network.

The stated objectives include attracting investment, strengthening peripheral industrial areas, creating employment opportunities and countering depopulation in inland Campania.

Morning and afternoon sessions

The programme is divided into two parts. The morning session will address orientation, youth policies and access to employment, while the afternoon session will cover local development strategies, the economic challenges facing Southern Italy and regional interventions.
